Management Team
Alan Bullock, Founder and Managing Director
From starting Insafe in 1985 with £5,000 of his own money and a further £10,000 from safe industry elders, Alan remains the Company's sole owner. Alan's distinct business style has enthused Insafe with a unique ethos grounded in excellent customer service and development of staff. The entire management team has been promoted from within and Insafe's customer list reads like a who's who in the UK's Banking, Retail and Leisure industries. Alan previously worked for Chubb Lock and Safe Company as their first ever 'business trainee' and gained experience in every department. In addition to his role as MD at Insafe and Guardian Safes (acquired in 2004), Alan occasionally takes on short term consultancy roles.
When he has the time Alan's passion is contemporary music, attending concerts and helping to organise music events. He enjoys the theatre, cinema, modern art, chess and travelling, and in his own words "is still trying to play guitar".
Arvind Shah, Financial Director
Joined Insafe in 1998, Arvind sits on the board of directors and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Clare Easterling, Deputy Managing Director
Responsible for day-to-day running of the company, Managing and motivating the Insafe management team as well as meeting regularly with the Executive Management Team to discuss the overall direction and performance of the company, Monitoring cost control and protection of company profitability, Overseeing all personnel issues within the company and Working with the MD on ad-hoc projects related to future plans.
Sue Smith, PA to Clare Easterling
Sue has recently joined Insafe as the Personal Assistant to the Deputy Managing Director. Sue has many years experience as a Personal Assistant in various industries but has recently returned from a year in Bulgaria where she and her husband spent a year buying a renovating properties. Sue's interests include socialising and long country walks, as long as there is a good pub lunch at the end!
Mike Cripps, Director of Sales
Mike joined Insafe in 1991. He is the Company's longest serving member of staff and Alan Bullock's right hand man! Always working closely with Alan, Mike has been key to Insafe's success and has been involved in every area of the business. His strengths lie in his in-depth expertise and experience in both the Safe and Lock industries, and his outstanding ability to understand the changing problems of Insafe's customers, proposing, finding and designing solutions that work. Mike lives in Tunbridge Wells with his family. He is has travelled extensively on business and pleasure, his interests include aviation, shooting and 20th Century history.
Jackie Moore, PA to Mike Cripps
Jackie has been with Insafe for 6 years in March 2008.
Jackie enjoys a varied role including taking messages and dealing with queries for Mike, compiling information for quotations for Mikes customers, issuing the quotations and following up for the order. Jackie also manages Mike's diary and generally keeping him in line. Jackie's main hobby is gardening and with a recent move to her new home in Ninfield there is plenty of DIY to keep her busy.
Donna Marshall, Director of Operations.
Donna joined Insafe in July 2008 after taking a career break travelling the world for 14 months. Donna has 15 years senior management experience within large corporate organisations with a qualification in Chartered Institute of Management. Donnas hobbies include diving, boarding and spending time supporting charities through sporting activities.
Nicola Cheak, PA to Donna Marshall.
Nicky has been with Insafe for nearly six years. Starting as the Receptionist and working her way up to her current role of Invoice Supervisor, Nicky now oversees all aspects of the invoice process. Whilst being employed with Insafe Nicky has gained an NVQ in Sage, Excel, Publisher and Power Point. In her spare time Nicky regularly goes to the gym, cooks and on weekends enjoy the countless bars Tunbridge Wells has to offer.
